Some of those older Bear bows are quite awesome. I would loved to have my first bow back. I went to the pawn shop and headed to the woods a month later thinking I was quite the shot. I missed so many times it wasnt even funny. But man was I hooked on deer hunting. Bow really shoots good to about 30yrds and then it really drops quickly.

Everyone needs a stick and string to just go out and fling arrows with from time to time. Great buy you found. GOOD LUCK.

Two years ago, I sold 2 bows that I purchased new when I was sixteen (I'm 57 now). Anyway, one was a Bear Grizzly 45# - the other a Bear Kodiac Magnum 55#. I cut my teeth on these bows, vowed I would never sell them.
I did, got $125.00 for the Grizzly and $150 for the Kodiac. Both were in great condition. I could kick myself for selling them
