Thread: Limb driver?

  1. #1

    Question Limb driver?

How does the limbdriver hook to the limb ? and how long does the cord have to be? I am sure that varies from bow to bow, but It looks like it needs to be long

Depends on the style of limb but it has brackets for both styles...solid limb bracket attaches in the center of the V limb near the axle and the split limb goes wherever it works best on a split limb bow. Comes with a long cord so you cant trim to fit your specific bow. Go to the website and you can watch thier installation video pts 1 & 2.

You thinkin about tryin one too??

I've narrowed it down to my final two, the limb driver and the G5 expert II.

there is a new split limb attachment available. It allows the cord to be tied in closer to the axle on the upper limb.

The new bracket allows it to be tied in on the limb close to the axle. How and why would you tie it on the cable?

Yeah that pretty much defeats the purpose of the LD rest in the first place.. I knew of a guy on BC who slaved the cord onto his cam/wheel....sometimes you gotta wonder about people.

Limb Driver is the simplest dropaway to setup and tune that is on the market. I have been hunting with one for over 2 seasons and have had zero issues.

Although I sell, and setup most of the drop aways currently out there, I highly recommend the Limb Driver.

I could see if you use the portable Press you could damage the hook up(the 1 that goes in between the limbs and hooks to the ratchet)

I believe the press we were using was an apple, i'm not sayin [I]you[I]would have to do this, but for when my set up (which i had the old brackets) and above the dampeners was where the bracket went, i laid it in the press and that bracket was right on one of the arms.....so i secured it to the cable where it attaches to the axle.....still a LIMB driver

Huh?..Wheres that comin from?... It doesnt take a PhD to see that tying your LD cable to the cam, well.... to say the least is "counter productive". I don't think that lil nugget of info is somehow attempting or intending to "know it all".
