Default Wife took this photo this morning...

This has been my bed for the past 6 days and nights... Doc said no driving and no laying down for two more weeks yet... I can go back to work on a limited basis Monday and start 6 weeks of therapy Tuesday.

I recognize that shoulder splint I lived in one for 8 weeks, I also had a beagle to keep my feet warm and a Jack Russell Terrier to keep my lap warm.
I go back in tomorrow for MORE surgery on the same shoulder.

Well, 7 weeks after the surgery and I'm still a bit sore and still don't have the range of motion that I should have... but the PT thinks it will come on with more work.. I'm due to see the doc in two weeks so I'll know more then...

About the only positive thing right now is it no longer hurts worse than before the surgery...

That is a nice tipping point isn't it? Where are you in the PT?

Stay on top of that! I ended up with "Frozen Shoulder" (Adhesive Capsulitis) because I developed too much scar tissue too quickly, Even with the PT cranking on my arm daily! Had to have surgery 6 weeks ago to cut away the scar tissue and do a full range of motion manipulation under anesthesia. So long and short is my first surgery was 14JAN and because of the capsulitis and a second surgery on 17 APR, I'm still working on range of motion and have not even started on strength training, yet.

Tuesday, I started swimming in the pool, just 2 laps & breaststroke only still as well as doing mild sweeping motions w/ my arm in the water and that has help tremendously!
External rotation jumped from 40° to 55° and overhead extension from 135° to 155° after 2 days in the pool.

I have a little restriction towards the back direction, no big deal though, never seems to interfere with anything. Mine was the left shoulder.
