Default ABOk (Art Brown) Canada Black Bear this spring

Check out this bear my good friend Art Brown harvested. He has aneat white patch on the chest.

Looks like that Prestige did it job with the G5 Strikers.

Your going to have to build a bigger trophy room.

Nice bear Art, bet that was a fun trip! I'm thinking you're going to have to expand that trophy room/man cave pretty soon to hold all your trophies

    Great Job Art ....

Just wondering if you hit the 12 ring or was it a bit low for an 8.....

No wait even better it is the black bear looks as if he got lucky and accidentally hit the 14 ring........

    Congrats Art.......

    Default Thanks

Took this bear on Saturday in Manitoba, weather was cold and rainy most of the time and the bear movement wasn't all that good. This is my first Black bear, he wasn't a giant or anything but the big white v on his chest made him a real trophy and very unique. Mike I got you some pretty good footage. Shot him at 12 yards with the trusty Prestige, double lunger and he only made it about 30 to 40 yards. Even at that close range it is very difficult to find something to aim at or to see any definition of the shoulder. A3/4 upright mount should look great in the man room.

Leaving for Erie in the morning, will see you fellas when I get back.

He took a smaller bear with 5 minutes of light left on the last day. It rained on him for four or five hours straight and he was determined to get a bear. I believe there was a little ground shrinkage for him.

    Congrats and thank you!

The thanks is because bears walk through my 'hood and tear everything up and one took a swipe at a lady walking her dog on the street the other day!

Bears are quite the pest in Northern Ontario. It's still an animal that needs to be respected though (ie: If your not hunting for it and you see one, give it LOTS of space)
