    Question How can you tell???

When buying a used bow how can you really tell if it has been damaged due to being dry fired or whatever??? Does each name brand have it's own little signs or is it just an overall thing? And, does it really matter at all?
    Thanks
    Bob

If it has been damaged it defintely matters. Look closely for small cracks in the limbs. Check to see if the cams are running true.

So is this something that stands out like a black eye or does it require a very close look?
    Again thanks for the help.

It may stand out or you may have to look close. Ideally it would be good to take it to a shop and let them look at it; as an alternate if you someone who is knowledgeable you could bring them with you.
