    Default new rest

has anyone heard of this? it's just like a hostage rest only all 3 brushes retract into the housing when the string is released. my nephew bought one at a shop in brookville, pa. for $104. he threw away the packaging, so i don't know who makes it. i've checked websites for octane, bowtech, hunters friend ect, and can't find one. any info?

The Athens Omega rest does not have brushes.

it is also 100% machined alluminum.

That's an interesting design. I wonder if a Teflon facing on each of the retractable aluminum fingers would help with smoothness & sound when drawing?

They are coated with a flocking type material, we borrowed the idea from the Automotive industry. They are extremely long lasting.
