Default How many have bows less than 36"

Have you bought into the short axle bow thing.

I got to admit that I really like my bow and its 34"

I owned a DXT and relly didnt like the strng axle. I did get an adjustable peep for the hard angle.

No... no Monster yet.. I'm sure I'll have to when I can draw a bow again but for now no...

Dan, it took a lot to get me to try the Prestige, and I only did it in the beginning so I could draw less weight on my bad shoulder.

But once I shot it I found that it held as well as the A-7 and was a good bit faster, so I hunted with it last season... I liked it so much that if I come back out to shoot pro 3-D it will be the bow I use..

I have a 31.5 ATA...............I find that I tend to want to cant it more than my longer A7. I'm thinking of getting another hunting bow.....the turbohawk is an awesome little 32 ATA bow and man it shoots great.

I love a 36-37 inch ATA bow thats why my 101 is the best shooting bow in my hands. For a "short bow" (33.5 ata) my gaurdian is no slouch either but it cant compete out at distances of 35+yds. I do prefer a longer ata when its all said and done.

My MOAB is 32.5-33" and although I like shooting the longer ATA's better it sure is nice using that length bow up in a tree stand; I'll take the trade off. Now if I were setting up a 3D bow I'd prefer something 35-37" like some of the rest of you.

I own 9 compound bows they range between 37-44 inch ATA.

The Martin Slayers (3) and my Apex 7 are the shortest, I just feel wrong if the string angle get too tight.

No 36 inch is too short for me. My Alpine is 36.5 and that is about as short as I want to go. I just never bought into short bows. I get buckfever and I need all the help I can get not torquing the bow during the shot.

For hunting I also shoot a Justice because I shoot from tent blinds. I probably don't need it that short, but it is quite handy in the tent. Also, almost all shots where I hunt in Maryland are less than 20 yards. I don't need the extra steadiness of a target length bow. Heck, the last few deer that I've taken were so close that I didn't need a sight.

All of my target bows are 37" to 42".

My "short" bow is my hunting bow- a Hoyt ultra tec with 2000 limbs. It is 37 3/4" ATA. With my 31" draw length it is plenty short. I've owned some shorter bows but didn't care for them.

I hunted with a Hoyt Oasis plus for years that was way long and never had any issues in a stand or blind with it.

I'll stick with the longer bows myself.
