Default 2008 Bowtech Equalizer vs Bear Lights Out

I am new to bowhunting and am looking to buy myself an affordable yet reliable setup to start with.

449.00 bear lights out RTS package or 400.00 2008 bowtech equalizer (slightly used bare bow). Dollar/Performance were will my investment pay out the best?

my draw length is only 26" btw

At 26" draw, I don't think there is a faster 7" brace height bow on the market than an Equalizer.

PSE Stinger is a great bow for the price.

The Stinger is a nice bow but not in the same class or category as the Equalizer.

Shoots mighty good for me. It is as quiet and flat shooting as many I see at 3D shoots.

I agree the PSE Stinger is a very good bow but the Equalizer will be approximately 30fps faster. The original poster asked about the Equalizer and the Lights Out.

Thanks for the replies. I was a little leary making an investment for a bare bow that was almost a much as a RTS package. Since I am only 5'9" and stuck with a 67" wing span...my 26" draw length will not get any longer.

You all have made my decision easier, going to buy the equalizer...now any suggestions good accessories for the bow to get me started that will not break the bank? I can always upgrade them later but I'd like to get shooting before the NJ season begins so i feel comfortable in the woods.
