I was using a Bowtech Tribute shooting Goltip 55/75's with 100gr Slick Trick Mags leading the way. We decoyed him in to about 40 yards and with the little cover out there he busted me and bolted then stopped at 61 yards. Had a strong crosswind and he turned as soon as I released. Not a pretty shot but he dropped in his tracks. First time for me. My buddy got his on the last day of our three day hunt after two misses at the same goat. He finally connected on his at 34 yards using a Mathews DXT with Axis arrows tipped with Rage two blades. I'm ashamed to post mine anywhere near his pic. He's a true monster. Surely a booner. Heres a pic of his goat. We had an awesome time. But a real tough and physical hunt. Lots of crawling. Bring knee pads!
