That's what it looks like, a 4 inch brace......soon they'll have to put off set grips in to keep your wrist out of the way.

No, the Axe-6 has a 6" brace height, and the Axe-7 has a 7" brace height. Think of them as the new X-Forces, with a different cam, and a better price.

Thats a matter of opinion for any bow brand. they are definately on top with the others like Mathews/ Hoyt. Eveyone's got there favorite brand. I'm obviously a PSE guy but also like alot of the other bows out there. There are some great ones. PSE X Force line and Bow Madness line are awesome bows. Even there medium and low end bows are very well made. As with most other companies. What price range you looking at. And strictly hunting bow or a little mixture 3d/target also?

I wouldn't label any of the bow companies as "best". Almost all of them make excellent bows.

PSE has been around a long time and have been very innovative with their designs. If one of their bows fits you and what you are doing in archery, there is certainly no reason to avoid PSE, they are a good company. However the same can be said about several other bow manufacturers.

Bow fit and support after the sale are much more important than who made the bow. This is especially true for a beginner.

    Regards,
    Allen
