Just because I can doesn't mean I would. If the conditions were right though I might take that shot. I would have to feel really good about it.

If I am feeling real good about my bow and shoot it great and have real confidence in my shot there would be no question I would take the shot.

Funny thing is here what we consider a long shot (40 yards) out west they consider a chip shot. Some of the guys out there shoot 60, 70, and even 80 yards.

    Default Honestly

I dont think I would take it in crosswind.

Many do take these shots and many do miss at that distance.

Im all about making the best shot for myself.

I sighted my bow in for 30 yards, but i wouldnt take a shot that far..Too many variables to go wrong in long distance shots
A gun, no problem thou. Some rifles we have sighted in up to 100 yards

At a elk yes. White tail no. A 3 D is a target and doesn't move like a deer can. One step and you have a bad hit. I would shoot one at 40 yard, but I like them in that 20 to 30 yard range.

Default I do practise 60 yards

It would have to be perfect conditions before I tried anything that far.

A couple of years ago I felt 20 yards was my comfort range, as I've taken up target achery and shoot more and more over the last couple of year my comfort range has increased. I shot a doe at 42 yards and never thought twice about it..........everybody has there own distance they are good at.

I am sure there are plenty of people that can pull off 60 yarders at whitetail every day...I am just not one of them......yet

Good question I don't think I would a Deer Target is not a living breathing thing...I couldn't imagine injuring a deer...unless we are talking monster buck and it was last day or something than maybe.

    Unhappy No Way!

Just a tad to far, 45 to 50 is my limit, and as others have stated that wind could boger your shoot every time. Wounded and lost deer, No thanks!

I think Clint Eastwood said it best in one of his movies, '" A man has got to know his limitations"

I shot a nice 3x3 mule buck at 63 yards. He only went about 90 yards from where the arrow past through and stuck into the dirt
