    Default Fred Bear- Black Bear

    I have a fred bear black bear compound bow. Its about 20 years old. The draw weight is 35-55. It has wheels not cams. Does anybody know how much its worth?? Please reply if you know the value. Thanks...

    The riser is worth about $25.00 to $50.00 to the right person. Folks like to have the limb cups machined to accept ILF fittings and make traditional/recurve bows out of them. Othetr than that

    I have no idea what its worth. But I gave mine to the boy scouts. I figured they could use it for they kids.

    Older bows just dont bring much. Might be something to donate to a youth.

    I have a couple of the converted ones. If you ever wanted to have a nice shooting recurve riser, the BB makes a good one. Of course it will cost you some for the conversion, but compared to other factory made metal riser ILF rigs it's a bargain, especially if you already have it. I agree on the other points, it is'nt worth much to sell it, and if you could find a newbie that fit it, would make someone very happy. They're a decent fingers bow too to mess around with.
