DB, have you looked at the toad press or the sootballs press on AT? I'm thinking of getting a toad press soon. Its $300.00 with a floor stand.

The sootballs press is great but slightly more than $300.00. I had one for a while and should not have sold it.

I've used my Omni Press on my HOyt Vectrix and my Ultra Mag, no problem. Bought mine new off ebay for a little over $100, plus shipping. I believe you'll find them on AT. also.

I had an Omni but it puts a tad bit of stress on the riser. I sold it and bought a Toad linear. It is a great press and you can get it shipped for $250. Great press that will press any bow and it works on the same principle as the EZ press. Jason is a great guy to deal with.

I just have the basic EZ Press with a couple sets of fingers. So far it has pressed everything I have put in it with ease.

You can't get the Sootballs press anymore, he had to quit making them cause EZ press threatened legal action.
I got one of the last ones and am so glad I did.............cheaper and better made than the EZ press and has a draw station/ bow vise as well.
I have used the A.C.E press that sells on ebay and like it....solid and works well.

I've found the standard EZ will not handle a Martin Scepter4 w/ Elite limbs... the A/A is too long to fit in teh press.

IMHO you are better off buying a quality press and being done with it. If I was going to purchase only 2 I would consider. The X-Press or the EZ Press.

I currently have an EZ Press and Love it.

I agree DB...The EZ press is the best out...I have an X-press and an EZ press and the EZ press is faster more solid and now being able to press crossbows can press anything with ease and quickness.....

You must have two seperate presses to press crossbows. I agree its a good press. But honestly that $4000.00 press is fine and lots of great things about it. I like pressing bows on the bottom of the cams.

The shops I visit complain about having to drop 4 to 5 hundred on a good press. I don't see very few shops dropping 4 grand on a press, but hey they can always hope

I am sure it is nice. It should be!
