Default Cougar Track in Northern IL?

I had a friend send me this by email. This was from Boone County IL. You think this is a Cougar track?

If it is, my trigger finger just got a little more happy!

Did he find just the one track like that? People in Jo Daviess Co. swear they've got them.
Be good or be good at it.

I did the research. the shape, the size, no claws , 3 lobes on the back of the paw. I also showed the print to someone who workes at a small private zoo that has cougars and they said it was clearly a cougar print.
