    Default poundage help

had a fella change out the strings on my 08 marquis 70# 29". now i am only maxing out at 65#. he is now out of the situation. i have a bowmaster to use for a press. could somebody explain to me how i would finish adjusting the string & cables. ata is right on at 34 1/2" but the brace height is 6 7/8 and not the 7" it was. the strings are vapor trails. thanks

put 4 twists in the cable and it will bring your poundage up if not the 5 lbs try a couple more and you should get some of your brace back . if it shortens your ata to much you might have to take a couple back out of both to set it .

ended up with 5 twist and i am still only at 66-67#'s. my brace hight is still at 6 7/8. factory specks are 7". would i need to take the string and untwist it in order to lengthen brace height? or is the 6 7/8" good enough?

without knowing if the strings are the right lenght . its hard to say . but you can put a few more twists in the cable to get the poundage up . or you can put a couple twists on the yoke but do the same on both sides this will bring the poundage up also .
