    Default Which blade?

I want to buy a TT Spring Steel Pro rest for my all-round target bow (3D, indoor, field etc) but which blade do I get? I'll be using fatter alu shafts for indoor and lightspeeds for the rest. Any help will be great.

I'veyet to build the fat arrows for indoor but they'll be heavy. The lighter ones are 315gr but I'll be going up a little to around 350gr.

    Default Blades

I use a .10 blade. on my arrows and there 340.

    I would purchase a .10 and .12.

Thanks for the info. Is it as simple as switching blades when switching arrows?

Not quite, unfortunately. You still need to re-tune, but your centershot should be the same from arrow to arrow. Some also like to change the draw weight between indoor & outdoor. But that is personal preference.

Generally you will need to lower your rest a little for fat indoor arrows and raise it a little for skinny outdoor arrows.

Heavier arrows usually do better with stiffer blades such as the 0.012" and lighter arrows with the thinner launcher blades. However, this is not always the case. My 2712's with 300 grain points grouped better with a 0.010 blade. It's just something that you have to figure out be trial & error.

I would say the same about my 2712 I also use a .010 blade on them and an .008 blade for my 312grn acc for outdoors.
