    Default ASA payout

Does the ASA payout money for the state qualifier shoots or just the state championships and Pro/ams?

depends on the number of shooters in each class. I would have find the payout sheet to say for sure.

It pays the tops 20% of the class. So 10 shooters is 2 places and it would be 66.66% of purse to 1st and 33.33% to 2nd place. Hope this helps.

It's the clubs choice if they wish to do a payback.

IF a club elects to do a payback it is to be a 40% of the monies available minimum. A club can elect to pay a higher percentage.

The minimum is: 40% of $ 15.00 of each shooter which means that for each shooter there will be $6.00 in the pay purse.

Also, the ASA min scale used is 1 place per 5 shooters in a class.

quick break down for most of all the states would be this:

    1pp -5pp - 100% of purse
    6pp -10pp - 65% for 1st 35% for 2nd
    11pp -15 pp 50% for 1st 30% for 2nd 20% for 3rd.
    16pp -20pp 40% for 1st 30% for 2nd 20% for 3rd 10% for 4th

Now, if a club does not do a payout....They must give some sort of awards ie. trophy or plaque...for the same shooter ratio listed above.
