    Default Asa Pro/am Date Update

Due to an announcement this week that the NAA and NFAA will be holding a joint international competition the week of July 21 - 29 we will be moving the ASA Classic to August 4 - 7 in 2011. We are very supportive of this move by these organizations and are happy to be able to accommodate this change on behalf of our shooters and sponsors. We will announce the final date and location for the second event in 2011 by the 29th of September.

    Pro/Am Location 2011 Dates
    Newberry, FL Feb 4 6
    TBD Mar 4 6 or Mar 11 - 13
    Paris, TX Apr 1 3
    Augusta, GA Apr 29 - May 1
    London, KY June 3 5
    Metropolis, IL June 24 26

    ASA Classic West Monroe, LA
    August 4 - 7

I have an idea of where the TBA is..............It's going to be somewhere on the continental U.S.

you're joking right? A Pro Am in Louisianna the weekend before Fat Tuesday, that might up the attendance.

Might be just the time for me to go to my first Pro Am

    Default Pro-Am Locations

Well I was certainly hoping that rumor was false. Attendance will more than likely drop for the first shoot as not many people will be able to afford back to back trips to Louisiana and then Texas. Especially people from the Carolinas, Virginia, Georgia that are already 15+ hours away. Hope it works out for the best, but I can honestly say I will not be there. Maybe one but not both.

No kidding... not to mention, they have traditionally been farther away from the states who actually have the greater number of shooters to begin with.

Glad to see them moving closer to the bulk of their "customer" base.

I will be there. I have averaged over 14 hrs one way/shoot for the last two years. Closest shoot for me is KY it is only 6.5 hrs away.
