Default Too hot to hunt.. 80+ degrees

It's been 80+ degrees in Northern IL. I'm waiting for cooler temps before I go out.

90% of game cam pictures Im getting are at nightime especially on the larger bucks. Hunting in hot weather truly sucks.

way to warm last weekend to hunt.

I sat in a ground blind with a cooler of beer and spent the time scouting and looking instead of hunting.

I went out a couple of mornings during this hot snap - had a few moving way before shooting hours. I'm not going back out until this breaks - which is coming.

Yep, reports calling for mid-upper 80's here for this week and most of next.

Heading to MO next week, hope it's cooler up there.

I'd kill for 70s or 80s temp. It's in the high 30s here.

Don't put the fishing poles up yet boys. I am enjoying this little "Indian Summer" of ours but in my experience bucks of any merit do not move early season when its hot.
