Default Lack of excitement over 2011 Bows?

Does anyone else notice the lack of excitement over the 2011 bows. Now I know bowtech and Mathews have not announced yet so there is still hope.

But looking on the various websites, there is usually a ton of "buzz" when someone bit announces. So far, it's pretty quiet.

Bowtech announces Monday Oct 25th and Mathews on Nov 1st.
Please bring us something really exciting.

I hear ya. One would think the Mathews Z7 XT would be out, it's already 30"... how much shorter can you make it ? Probably see a Z7 LD maybe? A new model all together looks like a promising possability, but we've all been disapointed before.

Expectaions are hard to live up to, how much better can they really get you know .
Be good or be good at it.

I agree. There are a few I am interested in but not enough change for me to get a new one. I like the Alphaelite and will try one. But , not looking to buy one.

Nothing really ground breaking from the big boys this year so far. I was really excited to see the new Elites but was really disappointed in the XLRs replacement. I'm not a shoot through riser fan so the new PSE target bows and the AlphaElite don't trip my trigger either.

As for the future, maybe Mathews will release something really new and nice. There is a new lever bow coming this spring from a new company that I'm planning on getting, so maybe that's why these other new bows aren't getting me really excited.

I look forward to testing the PSE line for 2011 and I hope Bowtech does something big to excite the market.

difficult to get very excited about new toys when you're broke and spending your retirement fund just to survive... Go vote...

    Unfortunately, you got that right.

I'll be voting and it won't be for the guys running the show now.
