Sure, this is one of our main priorities.
We will be adding new bows (including target bows) gradually as we go. But please bare with us. For example, we have not been adding new bows for a while because:
1) we were working on the above mentioned Bow Comparator tool
2) we were working on adding 4 more online sellers to compare prices from
3) we are currently also working on restructuring brand pages such as http://compoundbowchoice.com/brands/mathews/ or http://compoundbowchoice.com/brands/pse/ - want to make them much better, add classification, filtering, search capabiliies, etc.
4) we are currently working on other exciting systems that will go live maybe in 2-4 months
There are a lot of things on the plate. We will start adding new bows ASAP. But as i mentioned we will be doing it gradually. To speed up the process maybe we will just be adding pics, videos, specs, price pages. Maybe we won't be adding editor reviews at this stage - this should speed up the process dramatically.
Also, we need to add more brands. In general, we might need some help from you guys. Especially if you want to speed up the process and you want to see a particular brand/model on the site.
Say someone likes G5 Quest bows (we have not had a chance to add this great brand or many other great brands to our website yet). If this particular person is happy to contribute a little bit and write a few paragraphs about this brand we would be more than happy to check this info and publish it. Not only would this help to speed up the process and help the community but you could also be added to our website as a contributor (if you want to be credited of course - it's up to you).
So, in a nutshell, we are working hard to get there - we might need some help in terms of researching / writing content. Stay tuned....

Update + Interesting request from some archers
Guys, just wanted to let you know that over the last week we received some great feedback (from many places) about the tools we discuss in this thread.
Interestingly, we were asked to provide a mechanism for people to contribute to this project. We have been creating these tools for the whole community for more than 18 months now. Many people would be happy to contribute their time and expertise to improve the tools and make them even better.
Therefore, if you have some spare time and would like to contribute to this community project please go to this page and see how you can change the world, make the difference, and help thousands of other archers.
Here is how you could help others and give back to archery:
1) share your bow(s) pics
2) write a brief review about a brand that is not available in the tools discussed in this thread (bow comparator and bow selector) - this will help us plug in new brands to the tools much quicker
3) conduct research and share results with everyone - once again we will be able to add more bows to the comparator and selector tools (as requested by many archers over the last week)
4) provide any other useful info about any brand/bow
As you know we work on this community project for a long time. While we would like to spend more time on these tools for the community, we all have full time jobs and families. So, if you really want to speed the thilngs up and improve the tools, or you are just bored and would like to feel good and be appreciated by many archers, please consider making these tools better by contributing your time and expertise.
Please visit this page for more details.
Thanks very much from many many archers who enjoy using the tools discussed in this thread. Together we can make the difference.

this is somethnig most folks never consider in their bow selection in my opinion.
but i think it would be cool to add something like this.. http://www.huntersfriend.com/2007-Bo...ess-rating.htm
one other thing would be how fast does a bow really shoot.. so kinda test drive it for everyone...but of course that comparison has to be the same specs for arrow weight and draw length..at least that way most people can have a good baseline for what kind of energy a bow makes
you could use the easton bowmapper to post the draw curve for a bow so people can see what the draw looks like... say also give a base of what an easy drawing bow looks like, then a hard drawing bow..

Someone else from a different forum suggested addng draw curves as well. Looks like adding this feature would be very useful.
We will definitely be improving the tools. For example, we plan to classify all bows. For example, you would be able to select by type (small kids/youth/women/men), or by application (hunting/3D/competition), or by smoothness (smoot / smooth and relatively fast / fast), etc. And it will be very easy to select a bow by different types. This is just one enhancement we are working on right now.
We would like to spend much more time on these tools but we all have full time jobs as i mentioned. We recently received a lot of great feedback about the tools. As i mentioned some people even asked to create a mechanism for contributing their pics/experience/expertise, etc. That is why we ask everyone who wants to improve these tools created for the whole community to consider contributing their time. This would speed the things up tremendously. If you want to contribute to this community project and improve archery you can find more information here: http://compoundbowchoice.com/about-us/contribute/
