    Default Winter Leagues!

    How many are you doing?

    What format are you shooting?

    When do they start?

    How long do they run?

Shooting an indoor 3D league again this year. It's 32 arrow (16 stations, 2 arrows per station) and we can get about 35 yards max on the angle. Starts the first week of January and last into April.

every saturday night indoor 3-d max 35yds. last time got outshot by a woman but she shoots in womans pro class. and please dont ask me what her name was cause i have that (crs) disease. i think i got 4th place with a 304 shooting the asa scoring system on 30 targets. not bad for just unscrewing the broadheads and going to shoot.

This is my first year shooting league (only been shooting since March) and my hubby and I are shooting 2 leagues. The first is on Sunday nights starting January 9th and runs for 10 weeks. It is the 5 spot 360 with 100% handicap. We have some of the best archers around in our club so I really need that handicap lol! The second is on Friday nights and is a couples league. I am not sure how long it runs but starts the first week in January (the date must be the 7th I am guessing). I was told we shoot all different types of targets with this one. Both are at 20 yards.

    Default Wsoa

You guys shooting a spot league or thinking of starting one, give the WSOA a try. This is a target with a built in handicap so to speak. It puts everyone on as level of a playing field as possible.

    NFAA 5 spot - handicapped
Teams set by drawing names from a hat
We've already shot 2 weeks for handicap

We start the 10 week league on January 3

We have 12 lanes, so can fit in 24 archers per shoot.

Indoor is pretty popular, so we run two nights, Monday & Tuesday. Monday has been filled for the last 10 years and Tuesday is 1/2 to 3/4 filled.

One of the reasons that Monday night is always full is that Gary's family owns a bakery and he brings in the left over cookies!

Yes. Going to give the indoor 3d a break this winter. After about 5 weeks in it's not the same enjoyment that comes w/ outdoor.

We've been shooting for about 6 weeks now, rotating between 5 Spot and WSOA.

Just friendly shooting so far, we are looking to step it up now that some of the new shooters have started gaining confidence and improving their shooting.

I'm open to suggestions as to how to put on a good clean, fun 5 or 6 week league... Freely admit, I haven't a clue how to proceed.

    Anyone mind sharing their format?
