    Default AT strikes again!

Well, now the tyrants at AT have banned threads that are against crossbows. You are only allowed to post threads that PROMOTEcrossbows or crossbow hunting. If you post a thread AGAINST CROSSBOWS, you will be BANNED!!
According to the Tyrannosaurus Tyrants this is not censorship because they don't allow pornography either! LOL!
Why don't they be honest: its about MONEY!!

    Crossbows have there own forums.

Why even mention them in bohunting forums any more?

Dont go into crossbow forums. Seems pretty simple to me.

Most archers realize there just for those who cant shoot a bow.

I'm on the fence on this one. My father was born missing two vertebre in his back, doctor's said he should have been in a wheelchair 12 years ago...

If a crossbow gets him into the woods more often (or anybody for that matter), I'm all for it.

10-15 years ago, people would get dirty looks for shooting a wheelie instead of a stickbow. The times, they are a changing!

Crossbow..... has the word bow in it. AT, as was stated, has a crossbow section. Anything, and especially anything strongly worded in the negative on anything anti-bow is going to get looked at as anti hunting. Hunting is what keeps bow manufacturers in buisness. Advertising dollars from those manufacturers are what keep these website doors open.

Amen Dan. I could have probably got a permit to use one last fall. Sure changed my view of crossbows. It's not like they're a 243 with a scope. Effective range is about the same as a regular compound.

Money for states is what keeps hunting going. That is a qoute from one of my state most pro hunting represenatives. Its a fact!

Everthing acceptable is not good for hunting. Hunting in my state was better when I was 20 than today. Of course if you can afford leases its still good. But hunting lands have been over hunted for years and now they extend seasons to sale more tags. New lady governer has a bright idea to cobining conservation dept and wildlife dept. Less jobs for over worked staff of wildlife officers already.

Owner of Horton promoted crossbows and showed hitting an apple at 100yrds.

Next year it will be 150yrds as crossbow manufactuers fight for sales.

No doubt they have to get they're share. They have expences to cover too.
    But back on topic.
AT is a big site, probably takes big dollars to keep it going. They are'nt about to put up with anti-much of anything.

Under controlled conditions, and editing, I can hit an apple at 100 yards with a rock.

Someone's bitter because cross bows don't use sideplates.

    Default I could care less...

about what a person shoots. My beef is with AT, I had an administrator attack me, altered my profile, changed my avatar into some homosexual, and much more. I get banned for saying if I found out who was doing it to me, I felt like punching him. So I get banned for threating him.............

AT private owned and they make the rules. You either play by them of go away. Just that simple!

Well said!!...no shortage of posters who have crossed the line only to end up as cyber debree.

As far as the Xbows, ... wonder what the long bow guys were thinking when the first compounds came out....?.....Hhmmmm

On the other hand, the first deer I see harvested by a phaser will definitely raise an eye brow from me.....unless it's my phaser
