    Yep javi they are fun. I'm not proficient enough with mine to hunt with it. I hope one day to get there. Compound will still be my primary hunting bow but wouldn't mind chasing some does with my recurve.

    A simple recurve or a longbow sure takes any mehanical advantage away, but it is'nt any easier.

    I started shooting bows in '59 and I didn't start compounds until 15 years ago... Compounds have changed into something I no longer associate with fun... they are short, ugly and have no feel anymore...

    yeah , the only true limb made for compounds anymore is Hoyt's XT3000. Sad but true.

    That's cause you got that short ugly Triumph...........we tried telling ya to buy a real bow.

    Someday I'm gonna do the same, get me a nice longbow and enjoy a slow walk through the woods without thinking about hitting the next ten.

    traditional archery has always sparked a interest but for some reason i havent tried it yet. i have tried shooting my buddies recurve and it was a lot of fun. i hope to someday soon try a recurve on some deer.
