I've got and old Scott Archery String release that I haven't used in over 15 yrs. Just purchased a used bow that has a string loop on it. looking for new release for 3d shoots, my grip strength not the best after injuring hand. So wrist wrist strap kind would be best. Any suggestion to what would be best.
From what Ive been reading Scott archery seems to be preferred choice. Now I see Single Caliper or Double Caliper. Are there any advantages or disadvantages to either of the 2.
Brand is not important.

Open hook designs are the way to go. The Spot Hogg "Wise Guy" is one example, most release makers have an offering or two of this type and they are growing in popularity due to theyre easy to load ability of the designArcherytalk, Helping Sponsors fleece novice Archers since 2001.

if you have a hand or wrist problem the best thing to do is go to a archery shop and ask to try a few and see whats feels best for you .
