Default Cool tool for making your own bow strings

    Hi folks
I thought I would share this with you most of the people who see it think it's pretty cool. It is a device that works with your existing serving jig to allow you to wrap your serving thread around a bowstring using a hand drill.

Yes those are great tools, thank you for showing them on here. A great friend and I took what you showed here and made our own with a band-saw and router and a belt sander. You are correct it makes serving a string easy and fast. Again thank you for a DIY tip

Yup that's how I made my first one was with a band saw and glued up a piece of 1/4" plywood on the back. That's when I realized it was way too much work and hired an old friend to CNC them out for me.

    Thanks for the feedback.
