Default Thinking about a new bow

I have been mulling th idea of getting a new bow. I cant bring myself to pay 900 bucks for a 2011 model. Makes me sick to think about it. I am open to any brand at this point but have been thinking about a used Bowtech general or admiral. Or maybe even an Elite. I love my Tribute but just want to try soomething new.

If you were going to buy a used bow out of the classifieds, what would it be?
That course was so easy I even missed a target !!

Yeah, bows are such a personal preference item the best thing you can do is shoot as many as you are interested in. You might consider looking at used bows in your area, back when I was shooting an 01 vintage Cougar I went to the guy's house (who had it for sale) and tried it out before I bought it. It just felt good, took my first archery deer with that one.

    Talking Here's what I think !

First off , price should not dictate what kind of bow you buy , banks have plenty of money if you are a little short on funds and besides money not worth anything until you spend it !

Just be like me and never put all your bowcases together , as wifes can count , something I've already learned , so half of them are in the garage and I try to rotate them some !

PS. My bows are so old that I get contacted everytime there's a new western movie being made !

    A tribute or commander.
You might gain 5-10 FPS with a new one but it might not be ALL THAT.
I did shoot the Vendetta XL but I don't think you'll find one cheap used yet. That's a nice shooting bow.

    MSRP is nothing...

Around here Mathews bows are the same if not less than Hoyt or Bowtech.

Even though I have 2 missions and a mathews, I've been thinking of either a PSE Stinger or the Brute. I've always had a soft spot for PSE. I wished that PSE had brought out the single-cam Nova a little earlier, I would have gotten it. My son has my '98 model nova I've killed a multitude of deer with.

used bows are the way to go and maybe if more people buy used bows then these ridiciolus prices would drop a little.

I think it would be just the opposite....more demand, higher prices
