    Default First P & Y

Thought I would post a few pics of my first P & Y Whitetail deer. I have been hunting since 1983 for deer and have taken many deer most were in the low 100s for scoreing. And they were the biggest deer in our area and finally on 11/11/11 it all came togeather adn not only did I see 1 big boy but 2. And I had just finished rattling and calling when I heard a noise to the north of me and there he was but he did not come in but went into a large thicket. I rattled and grunted some more along with the use of the can call and then I heard a noise to the west of me and here was this deer. WOW there are 2 big boys. Well I grunted really loud and hit the can call and he started to walk in, stopped at about 60yds and looked around and then he spotted the decoy and took off on a sprint to it. He came in so fast and he stopped at 12 yds and I let the air out of him with a Rage 3 blade. He ran about 50yds and fell over and never moved. The Taxidermist rough scored him at 170pts.
