Default Few pics from last years 1st Midwest Bowhunter Championship

Better trophies plus Money for 2012!!!! Hope you all can make it!

We had a great turnout for this last year and made a few changes for this year to have an even bigger turnout. Read the new flyer posted below.

For the shoot off, we played what I call the game of inches. We placed a small black dot in the center of the lower 12. Dot was so small you couldn't see it with binoculars but you could see the 12 ring and that is what you were going for. For each 1/4'" you were away from the dot, we subtracted 1 point from your score. This really makes them squirm, LOL!

6 shooters made the shoot off and after 3 rounds, 3 of them were sent packing home. After the 4th round, 1 more shooter was sent home. So in the 5th and final round you had 2 men left standing shooting for 1st and 2nd.

Congratulations to Mike Decker 1st place, Jim Bruns 2nd place, Chuck Marts 3rd place, Wes Hutchcraft 4th place and Dan Beranek 5th Place.

    The Winners!

It was a blast, shooters were all smiling when it was over.

Westy, the details are on the flyer. I don't know if it would be worth your time to cross the ocean for but we would love to have you.

Come on by, we would love to have you! Some of our kids could brag that they had someone from Australia come and shoot. Go to our website www.southcentralarchery.com that should give you more pics and details.
