Default 2012 Bend Bowmen Redding Warm-Up - New Format/New Location

To those interested in attending the Bend Bowmen Redding Warm-up, there are some important changes to take note of.

    • The Shoot will be the weekend of April 28th-29th (One week before the Redding Shoot)

    • The Location has changed! We will now be shooting at the Ogden Group Camp North of LaPine on the road to Paulina Lake. This is the same location as the Supershoot and offers excellent terrain, parking, free camping and is great location for a 3D shoot.

    • The format has changed. We now will be offering 2 options for shooting:

    1) Casual Class for shooters just looking to come out for a fun weekend. 1 Arrow per target, shoot up to 45 targets each day. No Trophies.

2)Competitive Class for shooters looking to take home a trophy. 2 arrows per target, double scored, shoot 25 targets Saturday, 20 on Sunday with trophies awarded based on combined 2-day score.

This brings our competitive format more in-line with the Western Trail Shoot format and still allows the casual guys to shoot for fun.
    This a known-yardage event, range-finders are welcome!

Any requests for signature shots from the Western Classic? We are already planning on having the 101 and the longer shots, but are curious if anyone has any other shots that really stand out Redding shoot. Since this is a warm-up for that event, it would be nice to incorporate those challenging shots.

    Default Update

We had a lot of fun shooting this weekend and want to take a minute to thank all of the people who came out and shot with us this weekend. We had great weather, a great location, and had a lot of fun. We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to doing it again!

We also want to take a few minutes to thank all of our volunteers who helped with the event. You guys and gals are the best! We couldn't have done it without you!

We have added pictures and results to our facebook page
