    Default Thicker Arrows?

SO I shoot just a general "hunter" arrow from cabelas, when I was shooting the other week one of the old timers recommended that for indoor I switch to a thicker shaft. Got me thinking would that really help? and if I do switch is it going to mess with me when I go back to using the same and only bow I have for hunting with the thinner arrows? I guess I do not want to start using special equipment for indoor vs. my hunting equipment. Any thoughts?

When i start shooting indoors i switch to easton x 7 2312 they shoot the same as my gold tips out to 40 yrds. The biger diameter helps me pick up a couple of xs to.

depends on how much you want to get into spots. A miss is a miss is a miss, no matter what size shaft your using. they will help you pick up a stray x here and there but not many.
if you do go to a bigger shaft be prepared to change your sights and it will also screw with your rest height, they will have to be switched back before next season.

Just do what good old C.S does!!!!! Buy a second bow (Jennings Buckmaster mark 1V)and you'll be shooting Robinhoods before you know it!!!!!!
I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Its going to depend on how serious you want to get at indoors and more importantly....what type of scores you shoot now. If your say a 275-285 with a low X count shooter...then fatter arrows will not help you much. If your not shooting a 5 spot now it may actually hurt you.

As for changing your setup....that isn't really that big of a deal.

    Talking Here's what I think !

I wouldn't tie too much money into different sizes of arrows , when you ruin arrows , you might need to buy more again , as I try to stay with one size as much as you can !

If your shooting a 5 spot indoors...how are you going to ruin your arrows?
