Ladies...(bow review inside)
I have to tell you all about the best kept secret in the bow hunting world.
Now I have never been a big fan of short axle to axle bows and always looked the other way. But I am hear to tell you I found a hunting bow that I might just have to say is not only the quietest bow I have ever shot but also, by far the smoothest.
I won't say its the smoothest drawing bow because nothing will ever come close to the 2005 mathews switchback in that department. (excluding round wheel bows).
But as far as when the shot goes off, this bow is hands down the winner!
On a scale of 1-10...10 being perfect this is how I would rate it.
Fit and finish. 9-only because I think they could have done a little something for the part of the limb bolt that is visible. Will try and get a picture of this. Otherwise color is awesome.
Balance 9-but hey we are talking about a 28.5" hunting bow not a 40"target bow.
Speed-will have to come back to this
Grip. 10. Its a PSE. is there anything better? I haven't found it if there is.
Hand shock/recoil/vibration. 10+ if there was an 11 this bow would get it.
Noise. 10. No string silencers and this thing is quite as can be.
Draw. 8. Like I said its no Switchback.
Valley/letoff. 9. There isn't any. So its hard to rate. But I like it with no valley and a hard wall.
Accuracy. Will come back to this in the next few days.
So with all that said. I would have to rate this bow as a 9.28. Hoping to give it a couple more high scores in the next couple days in accuracy and speed.
So without further delay.
