    Default anyone know...

Saturday night my very large yellow lab went missing, we live in the country and have a pack of coyotes near by. Would coyotes attack a dog if he wondered off away from the house?

found him, but after a vet visit, found out he has a heart murmur that could kill him any minute. He is 12 yrs old and in poor health, we may even have to put him down in the next month or two

Don't give up on a good dog. He's old for a lab but don't jump the gun. heart murmur? may have had it since birth. Hang in there with him and enjoy whatever he has left. JMO

He also has a grapefruit size tumor on his foot that is in the way when he walks, but they can't remove it because of the heart. We will just watch him for a while, if he starts getting worse physically and has a hard time functioning, I will put him down. Oh, and the arthritis is getting bad, and he has been loosing weight the last month. He use to be almost 100 pounds, down to 83.

We recently lost a Queensland Heeler that was 16 yrs old. She could hardly walk and looked like the walking dead. It was a blessing that she got under the UPS truck and couldn't move fast enough to get out of the way. I won't let my lab get as bad as she was (she belonged to my husband)

I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.
