Default Change to longer Stablizer worthwhile ?

I shoot a Mathews Chill R bow for 3D shoots. Thinking of changing 9" Trophy Ridge stabilizer to longer 24" stabilizer and 8" side rod to gain more stability and less movement on target. Anyone have any ideas if this would be worthwhile ?

Going to put you in a different class, up to you if you want to make the trade off of stab vs distance.

Maybe I'll try a decent carbon 12" Doinker or similar 1st, before going to longer stabilizer. Thanks for the heads up.

It should make a differance for the better though, but ya it will change what class you shoot in.

The key is getting your bow balanced correctly. It doesn't matter how long the stabilizers are. Longer bars will generally make the sight picture more stable.

Make a 10" and custom the weights on the bow for the balance
