Default Adjusting a newly served peep sight

As some of you may remember from a previous post my peep sight exploded off of my bow and whenever I would use my string loop it would turn my peep to the perfect angle. Today I am having major trouble realigning my peep using the string loop. Is there any non conventional way to fix this. my peep is a fletcher tru peep if that helps.

Minimal peep rotation starts with a quality string. You shouldn't have to use the loop for peep alignment. Good luck!!

That is how it was setup up before it blew off. the loop wasnt "used" to alighn the peep but the loop turned the string slightly which made my peep sight become perfectly straight. I have a bowtech tribute I would hope the string is quality.

Is it just crooked or is it rotating as you draw? If it's just crooked then put in a press and twist the string a half turn or whatever it takes for it to be straight. If it's rotating then maybe you need a few twsits in the string to help it stabilize.

Could be the string is beginning to creep. Not bashing, but just because it's a high end bow does not mean it has quality strings. I know at one time Bowtech was using Winner's Choice. I don't know what they are using now, though.

Doesn't matter a whole bunch. I shoot Martin bows and they make their "double helix" strings in-house. Most of the time they are pretty good, like the ones on my last three bows, but I still replace them with Bucknasty strings soon after I get the bow. What the heck, after the factory models are shot in and set up they can always be used a spares.
