    Umm, is anyone on this forum a recurve shooter? lol or is this mainly populated by compounds?

    welcome to the forum...
    It's mainly compounds but there are some of us that dabble in traditional...I have a few recurves that I shoot every now and then

    I shoot a recurve from time to time.

    A good friend of mine shoots a Black Widow.

    Glad to have you,and yes i shoot bow's compound & recurves.
    I had a widow maker about 20year's ago i rember black widow first came out with that bow i ordered one cost $300.00 back then it took them 6 month's to build it custom fit .wife about killed me when she found out how much i spent.when i got that thing i was KING at the triditional shoot's and the bow shot good to.
    a guy offered me $500.00 a month later after he found out about the wait,& i had to let her go.
    One of the best bow's i ever held in my hand's, recurve that is.

    I have a root bow I bought back in 1971 I still shoot some. this year we are having a trad. shoot at the club. it is going to be, 14 spots, 14 paper animal and 14 3D. if i can get about 3 dozen, I might win it

    I checked it out,im not a member but im getting ready to join dixie bowhunter's again I use to be a member of dixie 20 year's ago.
    there haveing a big triditional shoot 2-day event in april or may.it's on the sched.
    im very familiar with wyth archer's. about 25year's ago for 10 year's solid it seamed like i shot every tournament in va/wva/maryland & nc.
    I was a staff shooter for hoyt 3year's then pse 4year's
    shot the great deasert shootout in reno in 1983
    if you were shootin back then you would know me
    hint!!! I owned ken's archery.hi im ken i was burnt out on tour, took a 10year break!! but im back.

    I think I remenber you.I think I might have bought some arrows from you a few times. come on up and I'll buy you a cup of coffee and talk about the 'good old days". oh the coffee is free at the club.

    ya. i made quite a few arrow's back then.
    im going to try to make a a few shoot's this year.
    ive got some hunt's lined up & getting ready for turkey season to come in.
    my son want's me to yelp him up one so he can takem with his bow.
    but i'll keep that shoot in mind & the coffee.
