Last year I was looking to buy a cheap recurve to play around with so.....Some guy had one at a 3d shoot he wanted $30 for so....I strung it up and pulled it back once, it was creaking so I looked it over, the second time I pulled it back the top limb snapped off and come flying back and hit me in the head!!! I told him it would make him some nice firewood...Bear Gameover

I'll be posting some stuff in the coming weeks. I'm getting some one-on-one training from a world class archer. I'm trying to improve my shooting and also improve my ability to coach and teach.

Ok so...got half a dozen of my new CXL2's fletched last night with those Vanatec super spine dealies...gonna give them a try tonight. They better shoot well cause I'll just have to whine...and trust me I'm a great whiner.
I gotta make a paper tuner thingy..cause I can't afford some $200 thing and all it's made from is pvc pipe right? Without paper tuning can I still figure out how to adjust my rest some?FBSA Member and Concierge

hey Chelleo, you can make a paper tuner out of just about anything. I saw one made out of a old picture frame. guy bolted a picture frame at was about 2 foot square to a broom handle and drove it in the ground in front of his target. taped some newspaper on it and tuned his bow. it was ugly but it worked.

You are bored???? How is that possible with all of the new toys you have?? By the way a big CONGRATS goes to Larry w/his new Drenalin.
And Cody you better stop talking about Eli that way or he will trap you in the bus again.
I paper tuned my bow after I bought it and had a high left tear so I just said to heck with it and 2 days later got my first RH. So I don't worry much about paper tuning. I do walk back tune.
Now does anyone know if Fred Bear bows are offered in Left hand??????
