Default Illinois Bowhunter Society Pig Roast 7/24

Blackhawk Field Archers has hosted this IBS Region 1 event the past two years and it has been a lot of fun. This year we are moving the pig roaster a few miles south to Plug and it should be a good time. Please invite whoever and contact me if anyone has any questions. Thanks Jim McFarlane, Illinois Bowhunter Society Region 1 Director. Contact Jim at jem6@prodigy.net, 815-964-2019

    Default IBS Pig Roast

Thanks Chris for posting this info. This year's Illinois Region 1 IBS event will be at Plug & Pellet Sportsmen's Club at 4600 Centerville Rd in Rockford, IL. It is listed in your 3DShoots.com database as an IBS shoot but it is really an enhancement to their last fine shoot for 2004 that was already scheduled at Plug. The last two years, BlackHawk Field Archers have hosted Region 1 IBS and UBI events and this year, Blackhawk is taking a holiday from that. Blackhawk is plenty busy with just recently hosting the IBO World Qualifier. Check out Blackhawk's July event for their special Handcrafted Huge animals and they have their Traditional shoot and then their Bowhunter Jamboree left in their 2004 schedule.

IBS is also having a hog roast further down south at BuckStop Achery in Brownstown on September 11th. Check out your database info or contact Bill Hilvety for more info on that. Thank you Jon at BuckStop for that event's help.
