    New Bows

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To answer and avoid rumors, As most of you know Martin first produced a compound bow with no cams in the limbs in 1974. In 1976 we discontinued the bow in order to lisence with Allen to produce the standard compound when we bought Howatt Archery. The Kam Act did not fall under the scope of the Allen Patent.
Since then we have worked on different designs to produce a new bow with no cams. The 2008 line will include a new bow that has no cams in the limbs as well as many other features.
It will also have over 30 pound adustment range.
The first half of 2007 has been a record year for us with an increase of 25% in sales. It has been a busy time. We thank you all for the interest and support.

thats his signature I'm pretty sure.

Very possible that it is a Oneida "knock off" then again after looking at the Sims bow, and this it sounds like there is a lot of intrest in moving to the "next big thing" and since patents expire after 20 years we may start seeing a lot of the old designs coming back into play only with signfigantly improved features due to technological advances

Did Oneida make a camless? I thought they had cams. The pics I seen of Monsterbows don't have any.

I think they basically "tweak" a Oneida and possibly update one or 2 pieces. By doing this they greatly improve the performance while keeping the insanely smooth draw that Onieda is known for...

I've never shot one but I've yet to hear anything negative about a Onienda

    This was on AT also....

Only the outboard limbs are similar to an Oneida....nothing else! Monsterbows have less in common with Oneida than any other two manufacturers out there. The Monster Bow uses a shoot-thru cable system, 8.5+ brace height, 70 to 95% adjustable let-off, 26.5-31.5" draw adjustment with no modules, no bow press needed, and NO CAMS

The ole "that is a knock off" thing is a pointless argument. Everything is a "knock off" of the original something.
