    Default 3D this weekend

I SUCK AT 3D!!!!!! After a poor shoot on Sat, I've thrown down my wrist release and ain't going back. I don't care how bad I shoot, it can't be any worse than it is now. TP is the culpret I think. At home I can hold steady on target , even on 3D animals. As soon as I set foot on the 3D practice bails everything goes to H....!!!. Get shakey and nervous cause I know whats coming. A whole lot of drive-by shooting. Got out the thumb release yesterday and was holding 4-6 seconds and squeezing well. Getting decent groups at 30 yds. Shooting a lot at 5-10yds. Long way to go!!!

Calm down, Relax. In the group I shoot with, if they get upset cuz of a couple bad shots, their whole day goes bad unless they can just relax and have fun.

I did the same thing this week. Shot the center out of all my paper targets, then I get to the 3D and dropped an arrow and didn't shoot to well the first 10 targets. Until I just relaxed and had fun.

I got to relaxed and started punching my trigger shoot 5- 8's out the right side and it cost em the tourney. Tied with the a guy and had to go to 12 count he had 9 I only had 7. Small animals that we not that far all it took was being 1.5 inches out the side. My grey matter got weak yesterday. My fault. Must have been in the air yesterday for so many of us to have shoot poorly.

I think I have gotten control of my target panic. I find that it usually occurs within the first 5 seconds at anchor. If I force myself to hold past that, I calm down and I can release when I want to.

Sorry to hear you are having TP problems buddy. I found that a bunch of blank bailing and BT release helps alot. So how are things going at the Archers Spot???? Maybe I can get back over that way and shoot with ya.
