    Default Arrow Lube

Just wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations on arrow lube to use while shooting 3-D targets. I went to buy some yesterday at a sporting goods store, and the guy at the counter told me they did not have any but recommended irory soap. If you have any other suggestions let me know.

Have tried arrow lubes. Plain old bar soap works the best. It is also the easiest and cleanest way to go. I cut a grove around the edge of a bar of hotel soap and ran a string around it and then taped it up. Cut a hole the size of my arrow in the middle and hook it on my belt where it is handy.

Any high viscocity silicon lube, like Woody's, is best. I used to use the soap, and it worked in the warmer weather fine. Woody's is much cleaner and works regardless of temp.

Woodys arrow lube is the best. Seams to cost a lot but last at least 2 years of 3-D for me and I shoot a lot.

I have never tried it but have heard that good ole' Armor All does the trick. I think it would, if you have ever used it on a steering wheel how slick it makes your steering wheel. YOu can get it in the little bottle as well and would fit perfect in one of your quiver compartments.

Woody's is the BOMB but for the cost I'll stick with a bar of soap.

Another vote for Woody's. It isn't cheap, I think I payed $12 for the little bottle. But, I have gotten almost 2 years out of it.

I use the woody's and like it a lot, I also heard the scorpion venom is good stuff, and odorless (which woodies is not).

Yep, moved in and almost unpacked! I have part of my range together, still need to build my other target stand. You'll have to come up and fling a few.
