Default "But its a high quality target"...

So my dad was going to Cabelas yesterday and I asked him to pick me up a few 5 spot targets (blue and white ones). I told him to get me about 50 if they were in the .25 - .30 range and 25 if they were from .30 - .45.

He calls me and asks how many I want if they are .99 a piece! I kindly asked if they were the correct targets and not the color ones... they aren't. So I told him to inform the guy to kiss his .

The reason for Cabelas selling the targets for so much is "they are high quality"... ummmm YEAH okay. Guess I should place an order huh?

Made from only the highest quality trees.

You wouldn't buy thin paper products would you??

Your arrows will know the difference.

    That's a crock... I pay .25 for mine.
I also believe that the NFAA has specs for the type and weight of the paper, ink color, etc... If you compare 2 different targets that are NFAA approved I believe they are more or less exactly the same....

Yes, but you can use that to your advantage. They have their price match guarantee so a couple years ago I found the best price I could for a Spott Hog sight and printed it out. I also went to the GM web site and printed out their price match policy. Went to GM and took a Spott Hog to the cashier and showed them the lowest advertised price and advised her they needed to match it to which she replied they didn't. I had her call over a manager and he didn't think so either. I showed him their own policy and pointed out that it was kind of sad that I had to tell the cashier and the manager what their policy was.
Being slightly embarrassed he knocked an additional $10 off the price.
