Default How close to my scope...

Can my arrow be when I release? I know its probably a dumb question but I'm a little worried about going past the 75 yard mark on my scope for fear of putting an arrow through it... should I base it off my fletchings when my arrow is in position... does my arrow go up at all when I release?... should I just hold high for shooting 100 yards and use my 75 yard marking?

When I shot mine at 80 yards my fletching cut the fiber optics that come out the bottom of the scope housing.

I never thought of that since I never shoot that far out.

I thought the arrows starts out low and then goes up? Seems weird, but I know you have to use your 40 yd pin if you are shooting at a target 5 yds away!

    Default Move your peep up.....

If you want to get more yardage from your slider sight, try moving your peep up a little bit. Your anchor point will follow your peep sight a bit from this but I also had the same problem with my sureloc and viper scope. I moved the peep up and had to do some adjusting to my anchor point, but I was able to go out to almost 100 yds. The groups sure were ugly, but I had no trouble with my fletching contacting my scope.

Yup, I did the same thing. Give you extended range, also lowers your anchor point.

if you are using a sight that you can move the side bar in and out. you can get more yardage by moving the bar in toward the bow. might get enough so you dont have to change your peep or anchor point.

quit hijacking my thread you losers!

I like the peep where its at and I'm okay just holding high. I don't shoot 100 yards often so I'm not that worried about it. I was just wondering if I can move it down lower... how much clearance from my arrow being at rest to my arrow being released do i need?
