Default Any one tried target shooting at night?

You saw my small range. So I am thinking of mounting a light high above my back stop ti light up my target. That way I will shoot from the dark the LP blue dot will glow bright and I can see the target great. What do you think or have you ever tried this before.

I am not using pins. I am using my spots scope 8X lens with a LP light. It has the crome steel tube with the fblue fiber in it. So you turn it on all you see is a blue dot of light to aim with. So at night.

Will let see my targets use to set there and I shot from across the road. Now the guy who lived there moved so I moved my targets back. But I have shot a total of I would say around 10,000 arrows and never hit my house. Around 1000 with a recurve never missed the foam block. Shoot 5" groups with no sights with my s4 into the bag target at 15 yards. Have not hit the house yet. The miss fire was the release miss firing and it was sent off to tru ball for reparts right after that.

20 yards you realy do not need it. On my spot bow it is upside down any way.

I am going to move the bag. I am building arms to hold the foam block up about 1 foot off the ground and 1 foot from the back stop and level. That is what I am putting the targets on.
