    Default Adj draw weight

I maxed my bow out to 70 pounds. I am thinking of backing it back off to 65 pounds or so. What is the general rule for turning out the limb bolts. I cant recall if it was 1 or 2pounds per complete turn or what? Also I have the bow tuned pretty good, walk back and bare shaft. How much will turning the draw weight down affect my tune? Will I have to start over or maybe just tweak it some?

    It depends on the bow.
What year/make/model bow do you have ? Do you have the owner's manual ?

With respect to tuning it depends on a lot of things... Draw weight, draw length, arrow spine, point weight, etc... You will likely need to adjust your sight/pin(s) for the slower arrow at the reduced speed at minimum.
You can always try it and see how well your arrows fly and how your grouping is and make adjustments from there.

3lbs per full turn as a general rule for that bow.

Woops, sorry 62flint... I must have had a brain shutoff for a moment. That happens to me these days for some strange reason.
Sounds like Hook has you covered.

    Sorry again,
