    Default Your thoughts on this bow?

    DARTON MAVERICK XT ? A buddy of mine is buying one and people have told him mixed things. Any input? 60-70 lbs 30 in draw, he is spending about $130 on it.

    I don't know the age, but it has double cams.

    most Dartons did and still do......
    I cut things up and split them down!

    are they cps cams? or hybrids they also call them. have a pic. of it. is the risor machined. or one solid piece w/ no cut outs. The maverik is I think there best all around bow. does it look like this?

    I think the cams look like that, but the riser is one solid piece, no cut outs.

    Excellent bow, good price...I have a Maverick recurve...The extreme has slightly different limbs...If the riser is solid it's older maybe 97-98???
    They made the cutouts to drop weight...but they are a solid shooter...
