    Cool Mathews q2 bow

I would like to know how to change the draw length on a Mathews q2 bow. I need a 28" draw and my q2 is 29".

    Default mathwes Q2 Draw length

[QUOTE=cvaughan]I would like to know how to change the draw length on a Mathews q2 bow. I want to know if there is a way to shorten the draw length by 1". This bow was a gift, and I don't have the heart to tell her the draw lenght is wrong. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I'm not sure if the Q2 cam has any extra posts on it for adjusting draw length. If I was at the shop, I could tell you. If it does, you can change it slightly.

Mathews bows are normally draw length specific. The only way to change it is to buy a new cam.

Shops that deal specifically with matthews should have a trade policy where you give them you're cam and get the correct one for you're bow, while they keep your old one.

We're a matthews dealer and I know that's how we run the ball game, but it might change if we have to buy a cam from the company.

Some cams have the 1/2 in. adjustment on them, but otherwise you're gonna have to switch them out like the admin says.
