1 buck that falls within antler restrictions (either 3 to a side or 4 to a side depending on area)

Must send in for a doe tag in a lottery format. if you are lucky you may get 2 doe tags

In WI it all depends on the zone or area you hunt. For myself the limit is about endless. Antlerless tags can be had for just $2 each and you can buy 2 of 'em per day. We've got archery, regular gun, muzzleloader, Decemeber antlerless seasons. Bonus antlerless tags can be filled during any open season. You must also "earn a buck" by registering an antlerless deer. I say register and not shoot for a reason. Guys have been known to register the same deer over and over as well as registering road kill. No wonder the kill figures were so high last year . We need a better system, but I don't know what it is .

    Tags as issued:
    Archery
    - 1 buck (with an Earn A Buck Sticker)
    - 1 antlerless tag
    - 1 bonus antlerless tag

    Gun
    - 1 buck (with an Earn A Buck Sticker)
    - 1 bonus antlerless tag

In section 2B we are allowed 1 buck and as many does as we want to buy tags for. I dont think that they have ever run out of tags.

Must be nice! We normally run out 1/2 way through the first round of additional tags. Its unusual this year that we still have any left. My guess would be a lot of people got their second round tags for the early season areas just south of here.

btw - Has anyone gotten their FIRST round tags back? this is really annoying me as I normally get my tag then send in for the second but I haven't gotten anything yet... my check was cashed like 3+ weeks ago

In Vermont you allowed 1 buck and one doe or 2 bucks (2 deer limit). They are trying to change it back to 3 deer a year.
