    Default Double Vision now...

Anyone know why I would be getting a "ghost image" when shooting? Could the size of the peep have something to do with it? will a larger peep reduce this? Thats the only thing I can think might be causing it and the peep is very small.

Could it be in any way related to string angle and the distance from the peep to my eye? Should I move the peep and lower my anchor?

grrr season is only a week away!

I don't know, I never peeped through a small hole!

I know a smaller peep makes my pin blurry, but I never had the double vision????? Smokes had the same problem...

I think so,I had a problem with blurred or doubled vision looking thru the small peep, years ago started wareing glasses it stopped then the older i got the worse it got.
Like Jayare said more of a blurred vision of the pin and to me a doubled vision of the target!
The larger peep hole cleared it up.

I think I would only get the "blurred pin" but the sight I'm shooting has a blaze orange ring around it so its pretty obvious that the double image is going on. I'm taking it in today to get a new Peep with a bigger hole put on...

I fixed it (don't ask)... made the hole bigger in the peep. I think what was happening was the peep hole was to small so I wasn't seeing ANY of the orange through the peep so I was getting basically the cross image only and nothing to match it up with

    seems to be okay now.

You might want to take a look at a verifier lense for your peep.

    Sucks getting old.
