Default Morrell - Yellow Jacket Broadhead Target

Anyone use this target with standard target points? Says its for broadhead use only... Id like to use it for both.

I use the yellow morrell target for field points. Its the best $40 I have ever spent! If the white broadhead target is as nice a quality as the the yellow one, go for it! I have never shot anything with broadheads besides foam and an old block target, I really don't know about morrells broadhead target. I love mine for field points though.

just a warning I've started seeing a LOT of people very unhappy with their Morrell targets and getting shoot throughs. They changed their design last year (to the flame one) and now they aren't as good.

I would spend a bit more and get a Reinhart 18-1 or do what I do...

Buy a really good target for field points and junk 20.00 "Cube" target for broadheads so if you get pass throughs you can just throw it away.

I have an 18-1. I shoot a handful of times a week, 20 to 40 arrows each session and the only marks on it are where the arrow hits in the painted spots on the thing. I'll have this until I die. Best $80, by far, I spent on archery... It's not cheap initially but total cost of ownership cannot be beaten in my opinion. It will probably be the only target out there that actually could have a resale value.

If you shoot a field point into there foam broadhead target, you better be into weight lifting. Once you sink a field tip into it you'll have to stand on it to pull it out. I ve had good luck using it for broadhead, and real good with there bag target for field tips.

With an 18-1 you won't have any of those problems... Field points or broadheads. It don't matter which bow you use and what it's velocity is.
I have no clue what kind of foam this thing is made out of but it's some really tuff stuff.

I personally would not shoot field points into a broadhead target. I have a $30 bag target for them.

If you have an 18-1 it won't matter what the heck you shoot at it.
1 target and shoot anything you want into it from a bow or cross-bow.

No, I'm not a Rinehart seales guy. This thing has sold me on itself, all by itself. I'll never buy another bag or throw away target. Waste of money and time.

Ditto this one...just keep a rubber glove on the top of the target. You will need to put it on when pulling a FT out of the BH target!!!!
